However, it is important to know about the ingredients you are exposing your body to and what harm you are doing to the environment when you use products such as bath bombs, fizzies, or bubbles. For example, did you know that many bath bombs made by major companies contain synthetic dyes such as Yello...w 10, Blue 1 and Red 28 that can easily be absorbed into the skin (especially through shaven skin) and get into your blood stream? Or did you know that when companies list the term fragrance there are usually unknown synthetic materials that are being used because the FDA does not require the breakdown? As a result of this we are actually putting ourselves at risk to chemicals that are considered toxic, even though they are not lethal, all while letting them enter into our waterways potentially, which can potentially harm wildlife. THE GOOD NEWS is that there are many local and small companies trying to do right and making bath products that are not harmful and eco-friendly.
