If you haven’t heard already, it has been announced that Ontario has declared a state of emergency once again and a Stay Home order commences January 14th. I have decided that I am now a professional stay-at-homer. I will not let this get the best of me and my business. We are all professionals now and we know we can get through it. This will be a month of smiles and positivity. Last year was a month of tears and tequila... no need for that! Let’s keep some happy engagement... here on the spa page. I vow to post nothing that has to do with Covid, lockdown or crazy world events like the zombie squirrels in NY and I need you all to keep the good vibes flowing too! I know many of you are probably worried as I vocalized that I wasn’t sure if I’d survive another shut down. I feel confident in the programs available to us this time like direct-to-renter relief and the continuation of the CRB. I’m going to come out of this ready to hit the ground running! Once again, I will contact you closer to February 10th once we see where we are at in regard to appointment rescheduling. Stay safe! Stay home! Find a positive project, and see you all soon!

As Dr. Williams has announced today, Northern Ontario will REMAIN IN LOCKDOWN for 2 more weeks. Thank you for your continued support as I navigate this scheduling nightmare and let’s be real, emotional rollercoaster Over the next 10 days I will be adjusting the calendar to the best of my ability and will release new dates to you all via text/ inbox or phone closer to the 23rd.... Please understand that I’m learning not to get ahead of myself with the calendar as it’s proven today the unknowing creates a lot of tense work to repair it. I have 14 days now to get creative and send you some daily fun stuff to pass the time so I hope you’ll check in! 2021 is here! We made it! As you are all aware, our province wide lockdown is delaying many appointments. We have to remain patient and do our part to navigate this ongoing battle together. I am waiting until Thursday night before offering replacement appointments for those of you who will be missing your appointments leading up to the 9th. I guess you can say I’m being cautiously optimistic.... Once we get the green light to reopen, appointments will remain in their current bookings and anyone who has missed theirs will be offered replacements I’m so excited to see you all and am over the moon excited for our new experience services! Check back here on Friday morning with updates from the province and our regional health unit! Stay safe stay healthy

Merriest of Christmases to you and yours As I head into my last working days of this insanely crazy year I’d like to take some time to reflect and express my gratitude. ... 2020- a year none of us will forget. 2020 my 20th year in business 2020- the year I found out about resilience, preparedness and balance The Lake House is surrounded by the most beautiful community both in geography but more so in heart and soul. I am grateful to all of you who checked in on me during our painful lockdown this spring, those of you who make sure I am taking dinner breaks and staying hydrated. Thank you to those who offer me up a warm bed incase I get snowed in during a work run, and thank you to all of you who always remind me of the good in this world! Thank you to all of the new faces coming through my door this year! Thank you for the incredible conversations and opportunity to learn more about you and your families. Thank you for your appreciation of my time and efforts and allowing me to everyday do services that bring me so much joy and fill up my spirit. I could not have done this without all of you! Thank you to my family for your understanding and patience of this non-conventional schedule and respecting my time away doing the work I love. I appreciate you all so much and one day we will look back at this as just another stepping stone to our bigger dream I’m so ready for another 20 years (ok, maybe 15 ) serving the community I love and hold so dear.
