Good morning and welcome to the celebration of the Holy Mass. We continue to hear in the Gospel Jesus' loving care for His people. Jesus says: "Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth". He asks His Father to protect them in His name so that they can be one as we are one. We are to immerse ourselves in the Word of God and keep our eyes focused on Jesus. In the first reading Paul speaks of the fact that some people, both in and outside the church, will try to distort the truth and bring division. If we hold fast to the Word of God and to the message that has been proclaimed by our Lord Jesus Christ we can weather any scandal or division that tries to pull us apart. Let us take to heart the words from the Gospel Acclamation: "Your word, O Lord, is truth; make us holy in the truth".

Good evening and welcome to the celebration of the Holy Mass. Our Gospel readings from John are going back to His last discourse; that is the time before His death and resurrection. Today's reading shows the heart of Jesus as He prays for the earlier followers (and us) to be one just as He is one with His Father. He implores His Father to protect them (and us) in His name. Jesus states that the hour has come for Him to be glorified in order that all may receive eternal life. Let us pray with the psalmist: "Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation".

Through trials and persecutions let us be faithful to the Lord Jesus, proclaiming the goodness of salvation to all the world. To know Jesus is to know the Father and the love and power of the Holy Spirit. May we all be one as the Holy Trinity is one. God the Father, thy will be done!

Good evening and welcome to the Celebration of the Holy Mass. The Gospel Acclamation for today says: "Be watchful and ready: you know not when the Son of Man is coming". We know that we are in the last week of our Liturgical Year and the readings do speak about living our lives in preparation for the end times. This does not mean that we live our lives in fear but rather that if we live our lives according to the example that Jesus gave us we will do what is pleasing in His sight. May we reach out to those in need and keep our eyes focused on Jesus.

Good morning and welcome to the Celebration of the Holy Mass. As we begin our last week in Ordinary Time, we go deeper into the meaning of faith and why we are here. To love God and to love one another, but also to have faith and trust that He will always be there with us wherever life takes us. Just like the woman in the gospel, we are called to give all of ourselves to our loving father, and to trust His will and providence for us. Two Saints are remembered today. Saint Clement I was recognized as the third successor to Peter, and Saint Columban was one of the greatest Irish monks, travelling Europe, spreading the Good News! Let us lead by their example and always share the hope we have inside.

Good evening and welcome to the Celebration of the Holy Mass as we celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King, the last Sunday of the Liturgical Year. The First Reading from Ezekiel speaks of how our God seeks out the lost and the injured and cares for them. In the Gospel we are invited to do the same by engaging in the corporal works of mercy. We are to imitate Christ in His caring and compassion for the down-trodden. Our Gospel speaks to the final judgment when we want to hear the words: "Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me". We will be blessed and inherit the Kingdom prepared for us. We praise You, Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe. May the name of the Lord be blessed forever!
