REDNECKER THAN YOU CHALLENGE!! The Oak Lake- Sifton Fire Department Family knows the COVID-19 pandemic has really changed everyone’s normal and put an ominous uncertainty in the air. We are in a state of, sit and wait. It’s troublesome waiting to see if we will have the same fait as other countries or if we took quick enough steps to slow the curve that has been stated. BUT everyone is doing their part by staying home! So, we want to brighten the mood of everyone feelin...g cabin fever! Our Department challenges the Oak Lake Community and Area to post your most redneck photo! Find one from the past or create a new one, we don’t care! Just give everyone a laugh. Post it to our page with #oaklakeisredneckerthanyou Please get the entire community involved for a little fun and a lot of laughs! We will give everyone until April 30 and then the community can vote! We have a pretty incredible prize for the winner! Don’t miss your chance win a roll of tp and a broken dryer that we will personally drop off onto your rednecker front yard! (We won’t really drop off the dryer but the tp is all yours). Thank you to everyone that came out to our Derby and supported our Fire Department! We work very hard to raise money to purchase extra equipment for our department so that we can better serve our community. We are lucky to have such a supportive community where so many people come out, buy registrations, 50/50’s and even donate money! We also hope we host an event where everyone has a fun day. We would also like to thank our sponsors who make it possible for our event to tak...e place!
