Below is a list of all our clinical specialities. 1: Craniomaxillofacial Trauma Post trauma, the hard and soft tissues of the mouth, face and jaws are repaired by surgery. ... 2: Pathology We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of hard and soft issue lesions of the mouth, jaws and face. 3: Orthognathic Surgery Orthognathic surgery, also commonly known as corrective jaw surgery, helps to institute working occlusion and set correct conditions of the jaw and face. 4: Craniomaxillofacial Surgery Through surgical intervention, malformations of the face and jaws can be corrected to a high degree of accuracy by our surgical faculty. 5: Dentoalveolar When needed, dentoalveolar involves the removal of impacted teeth in order to preserve tissue in the mouth. 6: Implantology Implantology involves the restoration of teeth and hard tissue by surgically inserting dental implants. 7: Tempromandibular Joint: A major area of specialties of the UofT Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Team is surgeries and medical management of the TMJ. 8: Reconstruction: The faculty specializes in complex facial and mouth reconstruction of the soft tissue.
