Omni MCA Associate, Kimberley Gladden, has been busy recently and successfully earned her Certified Talent Management Professional (CTMP) designation and achieved certification in Workplace Investigations from Veritas Solutions and recognized by CPHR Alberta. The CTMP designation equips HR professionals with the competency to design and implement leading-edge strategies in agile talent management such as recruitment, onboarding, succession planning, and employee development. ...While it has always been at the core of her work at Omni MCA, this designation formally recognizes her expertise through the entire Talent Management process. During the Workplace Investigations training, Kim gained further skills required to conduct a successful investigation into allegations of harassment, sexual harassment and psycho-social violence and was trained in advanced investigations methods such as advanced interviewing techniques and skills, trauma informed interviewing and conducting credibility assessments (critical in a he said/she said situation). Cannabis Legalization and HR: What’s Changed and What Hasn’t. Dena weighs in with her thoughts in this month's Business in Edmonton magazine. "How an employer would have managed an employee impaired from the effects of alcohol is largely the same as how an employer would manage impairment from cannabis. Many existing employment policies and procedures can be applied with some adjustments.

Omni MCA is very pleased to announce that Dena Gillies was recently conferred the CMC designation by the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Canada). The CMC designation raises the bar in the management consulting profession and advocates for a higher level of consulting. Obtaining the designation required that Dena conduct comprehensive training, make written submissions and pass a structured interview. While it has always been at the core of her work at Omni... MCA, Dena must now also adhere to the Professional Code of Conduct that ensures integrity and excellence in advisory services and offers protection to the public.
