TODAY Ecole C.C. Loughlan School is doing something amazing! As an activity for Mental Health Week, they will be leading a yoga class for every single student in the school! School Teacher (and Namaste Yoga Studio Instructor / OM School Yoga Trainer), Janelle Dakins and Guidance Counsellor (and Om School Yoga Graduate) Shelley Coleman, will be leading yoga classes with groups of approximately 50 children at a time throughout the entire school day and by 3pm every student in t...he school will have participated. This is such a special event that CBC Radio interviewed Janelle this morning to learn more about how Teaching Yoga to Children in the Schools has a positive effect on their physical, mental, social and emotional wellbeing. The full interview clip will be posted as soon as we have it :) We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Ecole CC Loughlin School for providing children such a wonderful opportunity!!
