Hazel and Kinsley in play therapy. Over the holidays they got into a fight so their owners learned how to prevent future fights, set boundaries, recognize and separate unhealthy play and reward healthy play!
It's always so amazing when the dogs in reactivity class come out of their shell. We're so proud of little Maya

On Cue Animal Training would like to acknowledge our reactivity level one honours student Lightning. When we first met he was labeled as aggressive and reactive. Lightnings owners were told he had to wear a prong collar and be punished for aggressive and reactive behaviour. This training left them with a dog who had no warning or calming signals and was still pulling and reactive. They felt defeated and hopeless. After a couple months of training with On Cue Lightning does no...t wear a prong collar, he can walk in a loose leash heel, he is no longer reactive, he was used as a demo dog in his reactivity class to help the other reactive dogs and has even attended daycare!! He has come so far and we are so incredibly proud of him. When lightning graduated level one reactivity last night his trainer Lexi cried as they walked away. The emotions that come when a dog feels better are overwhelming. Lightning will now be moving on to an engagement class then agility. We are so thankful to Lightning's owners for taking the leap to try training again after it went so poorly before. That's not an easy thing to do. It was definitely an emotional journey with its highs and it's lows but look at lightning now. Congratulations Lightning. We are so incredibly proud of you and your humans. See more
