Tomorrow is the day! #SWODS2020 is happening at the Woodstock Fairgrounds - 875 Nellis St, Woodstock, ON. $20 at the door. All program and food from our farms details were found at www.dairysymposium.com Our food features are: London Ice Cream Company, Dairy Distillery Vodkow, Gay Lea Whipper Cream, A2 milk provided by Sheldon Creek, Rolling Meadow Grass-fed yogurt and kefir, Oka Single served and cheese provided by Moutainoak, Jensen cheese, Stonetown Cheese, Gunn's Hill Ar...tisan Cheese! That's quite a list!

ATTN: Program Announcement Due to some unforeseen circumstances Dr. Tine van Werven is unable to present at #SWODS2020. We have two great topic in place for the morning. ... 10:20am "Reducing Antibiotic use at Dry-off - the Pros and Cons" by Dr. Ann Godkin and Dr. Dave Kelton. This presentation will give a short summary of the response of dairy producers and veterinarians in the Netherlands in response to a change in regulations that caused a change in antibiotic use permissions (slides courtesy of Dr. Tine van Werven), followed by a short description of the Ontario Antimicrobial Stewardship project. 10:50am "The Vodkow Story, Past Present and Future" Omid McDonald is the founder and CEO of Dairy Distillery, makers of Vodkow, a smooth and creamy vodka made from milk permeate. Omid’s experience making alcohol for drinking suggests there is also potential for making fuel ethanol from surplus milk permeate. Omid will touch on this as he explores ‘The Vodkow Story, Past Present and Future
