We are so grateful to The London Crochet Club for their generous donation of 137 handmade crochet blankets. We were able to include them in our COVID Kits, being distributed to some of the clients we serve across Huron & Perth. We know that with the cold weather on its way, our clients will be thankful for the thoughtfulness of these handmade blankets.

A big thank you to the amazing members of the Stratford Lions Club. They graciously donated proceeds from their recent bottle drive to ONE CARE. We are so grateful to receive the $1,000 donation. Donations go a long way to help our clients all across Huron & Perth. Thank you Stratford Lions!

With fall and winter here - let ONE CARE take a worry out of eating well and getting groceries

October is Community Support Month - a time to raise awareness of the number of services that help people to live in their own homes and communities. In Huron and Perth one of those vital services is transportation for seniors. EasyRide provides more than 60,000 rides a year to help seniors get to their medical appointments, activities and shopping. Our ONE CARE transportation services have also been providing grocery delivery during COVID.

Time to recycle your bottles and cans. The Stratford Lions Club Bottle Drive is happening this Saturday from 2-4 pm at Giant Tiger in Stratford. All proceeds go towards ONE CARE.

We offer a grocery pick up and delivery service to seniors. With cold weather coming, we want to keep everyone safe and warm within their homes by providing our essential grocery delivery right to your door! October 19-23 is Adult Day Program week. We are working to support our ADP clients through COVID both with group programs running again in limited capacity and through our new virtual services. Thank you to all our ADP staff who have worked to stay connected to the people we support and their caregivers during this difficult time.

We were very honoured to receive this award from the Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce. We are committed to serving the people in our community and ONE CARE Executive Director, Kathy Scanlon accepted the award on behalf of all the staff and volunteers who work to support seniors and their caregivers in our community

Stay active and fit in the fall and winter season with exercise classes for seniors. We are offering virtual classes - from the comfort of your own home. There's a level of class for everyone!

This is Meals on Wheels Week. Last year, ONE CARE delivered over 36,000 Meals to over 580 clients! This year, and especially during COVID 19, we are working to support hundreds of seniors with good nutrition with meals delivered right to their home.

Stratford Lions Club Bottle/Can Drive Stratford Lions Club will be collecting your Liquor bottles and Beer Cans at two different locations on each of the Saturday’s listed above. They will be there from 2-4 pm. Simply place your empties in your trunk and they will take them out for you. This is a contactless event. Your safety is a priority! All proceeds from the collection will go to ONE CARE Home & d Community Support in Stratford. One Care provides transportation, Meals on Wheels, Grocery Delivery, Home & Community Support Services!
