Heidi & I met more than 20 years ago in a little English class at College St. Boniface. Here's a little secret about that time, I thought that Heidi was a wee bit of a "snob". I could NOT have been more wrong. Thank goodness I got a second and third chance at getting to meet her, but that is a story for another time. Now I count myself lucky to be someone she calls a friend. We got our Ed degrees together, got married within a year of each other, had 2 of our babies within a year of each other and are now watching our oldests navigate the lives of teenagers. We have now come to the point were we are re-enacting old family photos. Heidi, I think this means we are officially old. Le sigh. If you know Dave and Heidi, you know how lucky we are :) Love you guys!

This photo was over a year in the making. We were planning to have a full family session over Thanksgiving weekend in 2019. But, you may remember that a crazy snowstorm shut down Portage la Prairie and area, we lost power, access to highways and we were only able to meet with few of the members of this incredible family. Top it off with a worldwide pandemic and two lockdowns... and here we are, thirteen months later. If you know any of these lovely folks, you know what a privilege it was for me to make this happen <3
