On Earth Greenhouses 28.11.2020

We are open until 6pm today! Our very last day we are open :) After today we will open by appointment only! I would like to thank my super amazing community and customer base! Without you all, my business wouldn't exist. Thanks for loving plants as much as I do! Sincere apologies to everyone who has come in the last week or so and wasn't able to get the plants they wanted, due to things being sold out. What a bizarre and unusual year for plant sales... I really do wish that i could've 'made' more plants, and you would've been able to pick from a large selection. Next year we will do better :)

Salvia is such a beautiful plant to add interest to your flower gardens! And it brings in butterflies too! IF you happen to be in a windy spot, you might experience some broken stocks as the wind can be quite harsh with the taller stiffer Salvia's. This season we found a new version of Salvia that doesn't have the same tall rigid stock, instead it moves with the wind and gets bushier! Introducing the Vibe Ignition Fuschia Salvia! Such a fun one! It is shown in the very first photo shown beside the Rockin Blue so you can see the difference! We have four Salvia flowers: Rockin Blue, Big Blue, Skyscraper Pink and our new Vibe Ignition Fuschia!

Hey everyone! In the light of what is going on, we are still in the greenhouse where it is nice and warm preparing for our opening May 1st. If it comes down to ...us staying closed in May we will be doing a plant drop for you at your homes or you will have a scheduled pick up time. If you are feeling like you need to get out of the house we will be opening private greenhouse tours for you to stretch your legs and be immersed in plants come April

Hey Everyone! So excited for this season in the greenhouse. There are new trees, shrubs and perennials that will be coming to me these next 4 weeks. Over the next couple months I will be posting all about them and you will have a chance to pre-buy to make sure you get what you need this spring! We turned on the heat in the greenhouse today to prepare for our new arrivals! Before we know it spring will be here....and the dreaded time change ;)

Even though our Greenhouse is closed for the Season we are going to keep up with this page and our Instagram to give you some helpful tips for your gardens! What is something you would love to learn more about? Did you know that you should be watering all of your plants and gardens early in the morning? If you have been watering in mid afternoon-late in the day, you might be burning the leaves of your plants! When water hits the leaves of your plants all of those little drop...lets act as magnifying glasses to the sun, which can cause burning and yellow discoloration. So try watering first thing in the morning to give your plants a chance to dry off before the Summer sun heats up! If you HAVE to water during a hotter part of the day, take your hose or watering can and lift the leaves of your plants, then soak only the very bottom to allow the water to head straight to the roots instead. I recommend watering this way anyway to make sure your plants are getting as much of the water as they need! (Although very time consuming for large gardens!)
