Most Sundays I would be so stressed about them crawling under the pews, making weird sounds, crying and because I was fairly new, I worried that people would judge, but not her. She always met it with a smile. Sometimes she would hold them, engage them, laugh with them and after mass she would alw...ays tell me how fun it was to watch and that I am doing a great job. She was an incredible woman, mom and friend. She showed me that Moms need moms of any age; As friends, as acquitances, as strangers who tell you that your doing a great job, especially when you think you aren't. Everything I am and hope to be, I owe to my mother. I miss her, her house, her smell, her offering to make tea when the kids are in bed and ironed sheets. Sometimes motherhood means you become a Grandma. . MEET KAREN. This lady is the grandma of 2 sweet little kiddos. She has been INSTRUMENTAL in the growth of Oneberrie and is almost at 1000 towels sewn amongst everything else. My Karen has been with me through most of my learning curves and she made me a quilt with all my fabrics before I went custom: 173 prints to be exact. She now sews all our Facial kits in Airdrie. I am blessed to call her friend and have her part of our... sewing team.
