You guys, this is it, the last day before the big day! Our wish for you is that you are not rushing around, panic purchasing, stressing or just plain freaking right out. Take a moment, take a breath, give yourself permission to take a break. We're open today from 10-2 if you need something, including somewhere safe to just walk and browse. We're cleaning and keeping low numbers and have a peaceful place to relax. For that person that you want to share something with this season but just can't figure out what, we have plenty to choose from including gift certificates available in any amount!

The Big Picture, that's what you'll see in these snapshots. The wide eyed, whole lens, bird's eye view. It can be busy and messy and all mixed up or neat and laid out and clear. I often get caught up in the details and 'fine print' and forget to take a step back and see the vision of it all. I realized yesterday that the Big Picture is what this season is about. I don't just mean the 2020 situation we've been struggling through, but also our families and friends and community and goals. A good reminder to not be so focused on the details and little things, but to take a step back and value the Big Picture. First, we've had a lot of people in the last few days who think that we are required to close down tonight, but we are part of the services who are allowed to stay open and run at a 15% capacity. That means business as usual for us at One Man's Treasure! We have been running below that maximum for months now for the safety of our customers, vendors and staff. We are sanitizing between transactions, sanitizing frequently touched surfaces, sanitizing the money we give you as ch...ange and sanitizing some more. We are carrying on! Next, I was out around our little town, Stony Plain, for a bit today and I saw you all bustling about. Picking up the things you need, wearing your masks, sanitizing as you came and went and supporting small local businesses. I just want to give a shout out to all of you, who are lifting all of us up this Christmas season. You have no idea the impact you have made. Thank you. Calling all you Dixie Belle painters and refinishers- last chance to get your Dixie Belle supplies before Christmas to play with over the holidays! Open today until 4, Wednesday 11-4 and Christmas Eve 10-2. Lots of new products coming in the New Year that we are excited to share with you! There is a price increase coming from our supplier starting January 1st, so stock up at these prices today while you can! Four more sleeps until Christmas Day! We're open up until 2pm Christmas Eve and hope to see some of your smiling eyes the next few days. We've then made the tough decision to close up for just over a week to rest, rejuvenate and do a re-vamp in the shop! We plan to open up again January 4th at 11am with a clean shop full of new treasures, looking forward to a fresh start and terrific 2021!

Shout outs! We have a super long list of amazing people around us who we probably don't thank enough. We could do a post like this everyday and still not get through everyone! But for tonight... This has become a staple in our town and it benefits our whole community in more ways than we can ever say. Melody put a lot of extra work into the event this year to make it the succes...s it was.
