Holiday Safety Tip Day 6 If decorating with a live tree, choose one that is green and fragrant and holds its needles. Keep the stand full of water and keep the tree away from fireplaces and open flames. See more live tree and holiday safety tips here: https://rainbowintl.com/what-to-do/holiday-safety-tips
Holiday Safety Tip Day 5 Any lights used outside should be certified for outdoor use. Use only insulated staples to hold strings in place, not nails or tacks, or rest the strings on plastic hooks. Outdoor lights should be plugged into GFCI-protected circuits. GFCIs are installed on exterior circuits in new homes and can be added as a safety retrofit in older homes.

Holiday Safety Tip Day 3 In homes with small children, avoid decorations that are sharp or breakable or resemble candy or food. Keep decorations with small removable parts out of the reach of children.

Holiday Safety Tip Day 2 Check all holiday lights, new or old, for broken or cracked sockets, frayed or bare wires, or loose connections. Throw out damaged sets. Always replace burned-out bulbs promptly with the same type and wattage bulbs. Using the wrong bulbs can cause overheating.

Finding and buying your dream home can be difficult in a seller’s market. One option you may consider is locating and negotiating to buy an unlisted home.
Questions to ask your home inspector before, during and after your home inspection. https://www.realtor.com//questions-to-ask-a-home-inspecto/
A raised foundation (aka, crawl space) makes a home more susceptible to moisture intrusion, heat loss and pests that can affect the condition of the home. As a homeowner, inspecting a crawl space may be a home maintenance task you don’t care to do. Fortunately, a qualified home inspector can evaluate the space under your home, report on current conditions, and advise remedial action as needed.
Along with prepping your home for the holidays, here’s your suggested home maintenance checklist for November.
