Today I was contemplating the tremendous impact a positive mindset can have on our lives. Lately, we’re all being reminded of what we CAN’T do. Is this frustrating? Yes! What’s getting me through, is focusing on what I CAN do and setting small, weekly goals to help keep me on track.... To borrow a quote from Henry Ford : ‘Whether you think you can, or think you can’t - you’re right’. It’s your choice! This week: 4 sets of 3 chin-ups 9010 tempo. #chinups #homeworkout #timeundertension #goals #perspective #healthcoach
Slow and steady may not win you the race, but it will help build muscle. And muscle is our organ of longevity so I’m working on optimizing it Mid supinated chin-ups. 4 sets of 2 X 10-010... #trainsmarter #timeundertension #chinups #healthspan #strength #healthcoach #homeworkouts
Tuesday is bone broth day in my house. Why? Because Wednesday is ‘green bin’ collection day.... I make this weekly, year round using primary chicken bones but I save other bones to add into the pot. This week, I’ve got some duck bones to add so I’m expecting great flavours! Bone broth is a great source of collagen as well as glycine and glutamine. These amino acids are known for: boosting gut health supporting immune health improving skin elasticity improving joint health improving sleep quality And broth won’t bump you out of ketosis on fasting days. Click on the link in my bio - recipe is on my ‘Share the Love’ page. #bonebroth #slowfood #natureheals #nutrition #healthcoach

She is brave enough to speak up against the 'meat is bad for you' narrative because she separates evidence based science from the politics of emotions. I've attached a link to a recent interview (40 min) in case you're curious... https://lisabilyeu.libsyn.com/dr-gabrielle-lyon-reveals-the
