Planning on riding On-It to Banff/Canmore this weekend? Remember that masks are now mandatory on On-It buses, Roam Public Transit, and in the Town of Banff. With both Banff Avenue and Canmore Main Street closed to traffic in the downtown area this summer, the towns have made it easier than ever for people to practice physical distancing while exploring.

With limited parking at the lakeshore and with 10 departures from downtown Banff to Lake L...ouise daily, the Lake Louise Express (8X) is a great way to go. In addition to strongly encouraging face coverings (becoming mandatory on July 13), Roam continues to: limit seat capacity on buses to 60 per cent for physical distancing, sanitize high touch surfaces on the bus, and regularly apply anti-microbial treatments on the buses.
