Couple shots from the last couple weeks at Harbour Ridge. Paving of the Offsite work is now complete, curbing has been placed on the Lindley Road extension and electrical to follow.

On Sept 28th we started Harbour Ridge Offsites in West Kelowna. In 4 weeks the Onsite Civil team installed 535 linear meters of 12 sanitary ranging from 3 - 4.5 meters in depth complete with tie ins. We hauled away over 3,000m3 of trench material and imported 1000mm of road structure and base gravels. Such a beautiful thing when all that hard work pays off and the job goes black! Onto the next stage of the project!

Project Start Harbour Ridge Offsite’s in West Kelowna has kicked off today. The asphalt reclaim machine is working hard to pulverize the asphalt on the Sanitary alignment. Exciting day! Ground work to begin Monday.

Onsite Civil Excavating has added this 135 Hitachi zero swing to the growing fleet. This machine will go to work on the upcoming Harbour Ridge project in West Kelowna.

Onsite Civil Excavating Ltd. is pleased to announce we have been awarded the Harbour Ridge Off-site Contract in West Kelowna. This project is valued at $750,000.00 and consists of almost 600 meters of 300mm Sanitary complete with road structure and asphalt resurfacing. Additional scopes of work include installation of a new watermain, electrical servicing, street lighting, curbing and sidewalk. The project is scheduled to begin in 2 weeks and be completed by the end of November.

Finished a storm Re&Re on Gordon Drive last week. Glad to be out of the cage.

Completed the Radon rock slab base at the OBCC site in Rutland. Walls are going up soon and then we will be back at it finishing the onsite servicing and hardscape.

Onsite Civil crews are still at it in South East Kelowna working for the City. They are installing domestic metering chambers, retro-fitting irrigation assemblies and cleaning up the old system. Looking good boys!

Started stripping and hauling topsoil for the Delnor Project on Rutland Road. The heritage church on the corner of Mugford road will be incorporated into the new building. The site will eventually become a Cultural Center.

Completed the underground on the Mugford Road project after a 15 hour tie in day. Rutland Water crews and Onsite crews pulled together to make it happen! The crews needed to connect three 8 water mains, a 50mm main, 2 services and repair an existing gate valve. One tie in required almost 5m3 of concrete to support the existing Transmission main we went under. Curbing to go down Monday, paving Thursday and off to the next project

Water main upgrade Project for Rutland Water District is well underway. Mainline is done, pressure tested and currently undergoing disinfection procedures.

Removals are all done and started heading up the road today.

New project started today on Mugford Road in Kelowna for Rutland Water Works District. This site involves installation of a new domestic 8 watermain and servicing to bordering properties.

One year in business! Today marks 1 year since Onsite Civil Excavating Ltd. opened its buckets up in the Okanagan. It has been an uphill track like anything and everything good in life, full of highs and full of lows. I have surrounded myself with great people and great employees, together we have been able to accomplish everything that comes our way. Completed the 300x200mm Water service connect for Peak Construction Group at the new Harbour Ridge Apartments in West Kelowna. Next week one of our crews will begin installation of the electrical feed for this project

Property servicing project for the City of Kelowna on the go in South East Kelowna. This project involves installing 200 meters of 38mm and 50mm HDPE water line along with directional drilling a steep embankment.

Switched it up today and planted some Maple trees as the slab we excavated last week got poured.

450mm connection on Hall Road in SEK - very happy this one is over with. Between the gas service, bypassing the existing water main and the hours of bolting and torquing this one was a little tricky. Tomorrow we connect Dall Road Reservoir as this project winds down and we move onto the next one.
