Saving the best for last? Well, of course we are. It’s Mr Joel! Generation: Millennial... Favourite thing about yourself? Working with students and teaching them it's okay to be their unique selves! One thing you do that annoys your family/friends? My aggressively loud neck/shoulder cracks. Favourite season? Summer, preferably on a beach. If you were a pair of shoes, what would you be? A good old sneaker! Favourite hobby? (other than dancing!) Travel, dinners out...pre-COVID obviously. Now it's a lot of Netflix and watering my plants...? What is your biggest fear? Blue whales, lotus pods, and dance competitions that don't let me bring my coffee backstage. Favourite music artist? Beyonce, forever - with an additionalshout out to the one and only, Ms. Celine Dion. PhoebeBridgers, Fiona Apple, and Taylor Swift have been my go-to quarantinemusic. You have a free day all to yourself. What do you do? Grab a coffee, a nice long walk around the citywith good music/podcast, takeout, and a bubble bath. Favourite food? All of the pasta, please. What is your zodiac sign? Moody lil' Cancer! Favourite quote? Beyonce's Crazy In Love lyrics were read in dramatic fashion at my wedding, so I'd go with that - or the classic OSD adage "Teamwork makes the dream work".

Maybe you’ve heard that we’re doing a different type of fundraiser this season?... You’re right! This year with the help of community non-profit organizations, On Stage Dance is going to "Adopt a Family" from the community to help them celebrate their Christmas. We would like to ask our dance families for donations to help us give Christmas to our adopted family. Feel free to donate whatever you like by sending the money up (in a clearly marked envelope - Christmas Fundraise...r) to the desk. On Stage Dance will be matching DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR what is donated! Please have your donations to us by December 5th so we have plenty of time to organize, shop, and deliver the gifts. We thank you for helping us keep the community spirit strong this season and we wish you the best of the holidays to come!
