While we are on the subject of waterfalls, feast your eyes on this frozen beauty! Tiffany falls, located in the Hamilton area, truly is a magical sight, worthy of a Game of Thrones set. What makes Tiffany Falls so special is that it's the closest scalable waterfall to the city of Toronto. Nevertheless, if you do dare to climb the falls, you must have proper equipment and training, having taken classes with OneAxe Pursuits, or be a member of the Alpine Club of Canada. The f...loor, leading up to the cascade is a sheet of ice, so don't forget about proper footwear! As for the rest of us, there is a wooden viewing platform, allowing for a slightly less adventurous, but equally mesmerizing viewing experience. Always practice caution when approaching the frozen falls. As temperatures change, and partial melting occurs, these is a strong potential for falling ice. Much thanks to @omgrav for the See more

Happy Friday, and here's to an exciting weekend filled with adventures and new discoveries! If you're lost for ideas of what to do tonight in the GTA, consider doing something simple - like a sunset walk along the Lakeshore. If you hurry, you might still catch some glimpses of the amazing fiery skies and city skyline views as the sun disapears beyond the horizon. And clearly we just can't get enough of this driftwood artwork by @julie7222 and @theliashelton Seems like it's really passing the test of time and standing up to the elements Many thanks to @goulden.child for the stunning

The Niagara Gorge is probably no less amazing of a natural feat than the falls itself. Just imagine, this 11km long escarpment has been formed over the course of thousands of years, and is truly a marvel of geology. If you are tired of the crowds of tourists, ever present around the falls itself, you should definitely check out the Niagara Gorge trails; incredibly scenic and removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Only 4km north of Niagara Falls, you will find an e...nterence to the "Niagara Glen" gorge trail. From there on, you can hike down the escarpment to view the great whirlpool, resulting from the rushing waters of the river. Check out the trail map before heading out; there is a variety of trails to choose from and many of them are located on the American side of the falls. Either way, you are in for some amazing views, just remember to be safe and stay on the trails. The rushing waters in the area are really fast and can be extremely dangerous! See more

Even though the temperatures lately have been confusing; jumping between summer like warmth and autumn winds with chilly rain showers, the colourful foliage remains a sure sign of fall! This is a perfect time to grab your camera and head on into nature to take in the sights and make the most out of the remaining bits of warmth. Canoe lake is a perfect starting point for...you guessed it...a canoeing adventure Located inside Algonquin Park, this lake is an access point to the park for many canoeists and multiple cottages are nestled along it's shores. There is a large parking area, a Ministry office, where you can get your park visit permits, as well as a Portage Store for renting all kinds of equipment. And in case you get hungry, there is a restaurant at this entry point as well Much thanks to @doc.what.matters for the
