We need to conduct business such as approving the budget for the following year: some bylaw changes are also on the agenda that are required to get OAHI into the current state of being with all things moving to be electronic such as paying bills. If we do not have quorum then we cannot do any business and it will turn into just another meeting which will be a waste of all of our time honestly. Register now! Greater Ottawa Regional Meeting Group (GORMG) Virtual Greater Ottawa Regional Meeting Group Thursday Nov. 12 7 pm OAHI members from across Ontario are welcome to attend this virtual meeting on radon: November is Radon Awareness Month.... Pam Warkentin is a founding member of the Canadian Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (CARST/ ACSTR) and a Canadian National Radon Proficiency Program (C-NRPP) certified measurement professional. Pam is the executive director of both CARST and C-NRPP, and a project manager of the Take Action on Radon (TAOR) Program. She is the secretary for the Coalition of International Radon Associations (COIRA) and project administrator of the COIRA InterComparison project. Driven to help Canadians reduce their risk from radon. Pam coordinates with Health Canada and radon stakeholders across the country. At this online seminar, participants will benefit from Pam’s wealth of knowledge about radon testing, reduction techniques and radon research in Canada and around the world.
