Hi everyone. As we approach another bear season it doesn't look promising for a bear hunt in Ontario so far this year. Please understand this is government regulations not us as a business. We are proud to say we will go in full force when opening is allowed and hopefully there's a benefit of this that our bear population will increase and also a chance of some bigger bears in the future. Stay safe stay healthy hang on for the ride. I have a feeling that if you thought 2020 was bad I think 2021 has told 2020 hold my beer lol. Hope to see everyone soon

Well we are in the count down of 2020 and on to New adventures. We at Almenara bear management would like to wish everyone a wonderful and successful healthy year. I'd like to say inspite of the bad publicity from the media everyone saw about us here in Spanish I want to say we are still open for business. Due to Covid 19 and the border being closed, we are not running a hunt this year. But we will be running a hunt next year once everything clears up. For those who paid your deposits it will be forwarded to next years hunt. Hope everyone has a safe hunting season wherever you are and will see you next year. Stay safe! Stay healthy!

With covid-19 and the border closed we haven't been baiting and posting pictures. But I want to say we are open for business and bookings. If the border opens in july we will start baiting right away and will have hunters on the 15th of August. If anyone books now and pays a deposit and it doesn't open your deposit will be held over for next year. Stay safe stay healthy and hope to see you soon

Went for a drive tonight to one of our baiting areas and this guy stops about a 100 yards away and waited for me to get a picture. I walked closer but did get a second picture at 50 yards. He decided I was close enough and left before I got the picture.

To our bear hunters I'm very sorry I didnt announce that we wouldn't be attending the Huntin' Time Expo in Grand Rapids this year and we will not be attending the Outdoor Field and Stream Expo in Columbus Ohio either. It was not feasible for us to so this year. We have full intention of going back next year. Have a great year everyone and yes we are still open for business and would be happy to accommodate your hunting experience.
