Posted @withregram @tanzadeh Shit-ry is a combination of 4 main karate systems (Shurite, Nahate, Tomarite and Hakkaku Ken Crane Fist), which attempts to unite the diverse roots of karate. On one hand, Shit-ry has the physical strength and long powerful stances of Shuri-te derived styles, such as Shorin-ry, on the other hand Shit-ry has circular and eight-directional movements, breathing... power, hard and soft characteristics of Naha-te and Tomari-te () styles, such as Gj-ry () Also has the major and popular techniques of Crane Fist such as Nipaipo, Papuren, Haffa and in its official syllabuses. Shit-ry is extremely fast (Speed=D/T), but still can be artistic and powerful. Ontario Parasport Games 2021 will take place in Mississauga in the spring of 2021. This prestigious event is organized every 2 years. Karate is a part of that prestigious event. If you are a para athlete or your Karate club have para athletes interested to participate in the highest Provincial level of multi sport tournaments for para athletes, please contact your club and make them send us following information about you or your club para athletes: Full Name, Date of Birth, Gender, type of para category they are involved with (i.e. wheelchair, Intellectually Impaired, Mobility Impaired, Visually Impaired , PDD/NOS etc). That data must be sent to [email protected] until Thursday October 29, 2020.

Dear OKF members, The Ontario Karate Federation Board of Directors wishes to thank you for your support and involvement with the organization. Saturday September 12, 2020 is our AGM and we look forward to seeing many people there. We would like to stress the importance of all participants and members attending this, as much has happened and we wish to update everyone face-to-face. There will be discussions about upcoming projects and growth, as well as the election for 2 posi...tions on the Board (Vice President and Membership Director). AGM will take place exclusively online, using Zoom (meetings details will be shared later). AGM will start at 10 am (connection will be allowed from 9.45 am).
