Today at Queen's Park, we paid tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our democracy, rights and freedoms. We are forever grateful for our military heroes we celebrate their courage and we will always honour their service. Lest We Forget.

Premier Ford and Lisa MacLeod unveiled the design for the Memorial to Honour Canadian Heroes of the War in Afghanistan, a monument to the bravery and sacrifice of over 40,000 Canadian Armed Forces soldiers who fought to defend our values and keep the world safe.

Last week on #DressPurpleDay, Jill Dunlop was in Whitby to raise awareness about the important role that adults and communities play in supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families. Together, we can keep Ontario’s kids safe.
Ontario is making a historic investment in Matawa First Nations to deliver high-speed Internet for more than 650 homes and 28 institutions. This is part of our $315 million Broadband and Cellular Action Plan to connect rural and remote communities.
Ontario is moving forward with a $765 million investment to build a new Public Safety Radio Network. We will ensure our 38,000+ frontline and emergency responders have access to the technology they need to do their jobs and keep people safe.
Ontario is making critical investments in our Northern roads to fix potholes and improve road safety right across the region. It's time to put shovels in the ground, repair our roads, and ensure Northerners can get to where they need to go safely and quickly.
