First summer at camp: 2010 What's a Bible verse that's meaningful to you?: 1 Peter 3:15: "but in your hearts honour Christ as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you..."... Grilled cheese or chicken wrap?: Grilled cheese. Favourite memory at camp?: Learning to roll a kayak! Why do you love camp?: The ability to connect with God, unplug from technology, be in the woods, and swim in the lake. And the people! The people are great!

We love our Camp Nurses!! Join us this Nurses' Day in celebrating them and holding them up in prayer!!

We've got another returning staff member to highlight for you! CARAVAN! First summer at camp: 2018! Favourite food at camp: Chicken parmesan!... What's a Bible verse that's meaningful to you?: Jeremiah 29:11, I love that God has a plan with my life. The pressure is off of me to come up with the best plan for the directions my life will take, and I just have to follow where He leads. Birks or crocs: Crocs. Why do you love camp?: Because it's AWESOME!! And I love watching my campers having an amazing time outdoors while learning about how much God loves them.

We could not let National Volunteer Week go by without thanking the hundreds of people who volunteer every summer to help make camp amazing for kids! Your tireless work in our kitchens, offices, maintenance, health centres and washrooms are deeply appreciated! May the Lord continue to bless you as you serve Him!

We're continuing to highlight some staff who are returning to camp this summer. Today we have... SPARTAN! First summer at camp: 2009! I was an 8-year-old Blaze camper at Adventure Camp. What’s a Bible verse that’s meaningful to you?: Romans 5. We were sinners and Jesus still came down to forgive us with everlasting life? Unreal.... Favourite thing to do at camp: I love to hang out and have fun on the Waterfront! Grilled cheese or chicken wraps?: This is going to be controversial, but chicken wraps. Why do you love camp?: It’s an amazing place where campers and staff can build meaningful community and experience the love and joy of a life with Jesus! Also, wide games are pretty awesome.
