Date change! ORA ISU Match: Date- Sept 8th, 2019 Cost $30.00 (will be shot on electronic targets) EMT can be sent to the secretary of the ORA.... Range- Amiens, CFB Borden Course of Fire- 3 relays of unlimited sighters and 20 on score. Time- First shot is 9 a.m. so be there for 8:15 a.m. to register Contact Patrick Vamplew if interested in shooting ORA Fall Match: Date- Sept 22nd Cost- $40.00 (will be shot on ICFRA targets) Range- Mons Range Course of fire- 2 and 15 twice at 300 yards on ICFRA target in the a.m 2 and 15 at 500 yards on ICFRA target. 2 and 15 at 800 yards on a 700 meter ICFRA target Time- First shot down range is 9 a.m. so be there at 8 a.m. for set up of range and registration. Contact Patrick Vamplew if interested in shooting the match. EMT will be accepted by Donna Vamplew ORA Fall Palma: Date- October 5th Cost- $40.00 Range- Mons Range Course of Fire- 2 and 15 four times at 1000 yards on ICFRA Targets Time- First shot down range at 9 a.m. Contact Patrick Vamplew if interested in shooting the match. Remaining dates to be finalized shortly.

There will be a long range practice this Saturday (June 1) on Mons range. Shooting will be at 600 and 1000 yards. Message from Des VAMPLEW Hi Folks, Making one last sweep to remind folks about the upcoming two day Fall Match being held on Mons this coming weekend. Many of you have already signed up so looking forward to seeing you there. ... It would be appreciated if you could drive down range to the butts at the beginning of the day to help set up targets and to check-in with Pat. We'll be starting at 300 yds so you'll probably want to drop your equipment off as well before heading back down range to park your car. ORA Members, Now that the weather has finally turned, I bet we're all excited to get out on the range. Our date confirmations have taken longer than usual this year for a variety of reasons. The good news is that we received our approval from Borden today. All Borden dates will posted to the website very shortly; other ranges to follow. We'll send another email when they are there. Mons is still not open. Therefore, the ORA annuals will be held at Connaught in Ottawa aga...in this year. A registration form can be found on the ORA website. The spring ORA Journal is now available on the ORA website as well. Beginning last year, all journals are now posted online. A very sad day. Many of us knew Jim well. His contributions to the ORA and DCRA are too many to list. He will be missed. RIP Jim
