I’ll have fries with that! In the last year, the cows at Kasko Cattle Company in Lethbridge, Alberta, have eaten 50,000 tonnes of French fries! General Manager Ryan Kasko explains how the operation uses cull potato products from a nearby manufacturing plant to feed a balanced diet to the cattle. It adds a lot of value to our ration, and for our partner, the French fry plant, it’s great for them too because they’re able to send French fries to be up-cycled into cattle, Kasko... says. #OntFarmerNews #WatchItWednesday #CdnAg #CdnBeef https://www.facebook.com/LoveCDNBeef/videos/269678151089791
