You can choose to feel two things about the season of life we’re in right now. F E A R or G R A T I T U D E... I’m choosing gratitude. I’m grateful for extra time at home with family. I’m grateful for my health. I’m grateful that we found some toilet paper (finally). I’m grateful for our fully booked wedding season this year. When you’re faced with situations in life that are beyond your control, remember that this is only a season of life, it’s not forever. Although this season may feel, uncertain, scary, and chaotic there will be an end to it. Until we find that end, choosing to see the good in this situation makes it a whole lot more bearable. To our small business friends, we feel you. Keep your head up and keep moving. We will get through this by supporting each other
Now accepting toilet paper as wedding payments, effective immediately.
Happy international women’s day to all you badass, strong, brave, inspirational, beautiful women in our life. You make this world a better place

a quick PSA: the number beside your name does not determine your worth. you don’t have to have a fancy, exciting, Instagram worthy life to be important.... be careful with this platform because the people with a large number beside their name, who you idealize, aren’t actually someone you want to be like. Just sayin’ Stay true to who you are, because when all the numbers disappear, you’ll be known because you’re a good person not because you have 20k followers. @ Goderich, Ontario
With all this cold winter weather our feed has been looking a little chilly lately... so we thought we would throw it back to this amazing session with Sam & Riley to heat things up a bit
Comparison is the thief of joy. There hasn’t been a more accurate phrase to describe how we’ve been feeling lately. We have been in a creative rut the last little while. It feels like our work has fallen into a pattern of familiarity- like we’ve found a groove and just stuck to it. It took us a while to realize what was wrong... a lot of comparisons and feeling like we weren’t at the caliber of the other people we follow.... I don’t know what it is about this industry but we always feel like we need to have our shit together and be on our A game 100% of the time. That’s not true and if anything it creates unrealistic expectations. If you’re feeling the same way just know that you are definitely not alone, we all go through it. I’m here to encourage you to challenge yourself to see how amazing and valuable your work is. We all get in a rut, but that’s not what matters, it’s what you do to pull yourself out that matters. That’s where the magic happens.
Happy Valentine’s Day friends! I’ve seen a couple other people do this and I think it’s super cute so to celebrate the day of love we thought we’d play a game of truths + a lie and I decided I’m doing more then 3 just to make it harder. 1. Brandon and I met on Tinder ... 2. We met in person for the first time when Brandon picked me up from the airport after I spent the summer in PEI 3. Brandon proposed to me 3 months into us dating but we waited 3 years to actually get married. 4. Brandon and I moved in together after 1 year See more
You don’t want to miss out on our remaining dates!
When we set up this little studio in our house we weren’t really expecting to use it for much but turns out, it’s our new favourite place to shoot. We had a full day of boudoirs the first weekend and I needed to try it out with a couple and . If you’ve seen this trend floating around on Instagram and you’re on the fence about it, we’re here to tell you to DO IT. It’s empowering AF, and you get to snuggle and be silly while also getting some really adorable pictures. @ Wellesley, Ontario
This wedding season we slacked HARD on Instagram. It took a backseat because let’s be honest, after shooting and editing on repeat for 6 months the last thing you want to do it try to come up with a caption that’s meaningful but yet still funny but not too funny they people think you’re trying to hard. You know? Now that we have a bit of down time we’re here to share some of our favourite photos we didn’t share over the summer.
You know those weddings that you wish you could share every single picture? Yeah same. Kassandra was one of the first vendors we hired when we were getting married, she has the cutest little sign making business and she made all my stationery wedding dreams come true. We talked a lot while I was planning my wedding and she always joked that She needed us to shoot her wedding... well fast forward to today and here we are. Turns out her and Shane are just super freaking cool people and we absolutely loved spending our New Year’s Eve with them. Check our stories to see some of the cutest New Years countdown photos ever. @ E.V.O. Kitchen
This crew was 100% the real MVP’s during the awkward it definitely feels like winter and we are definitely freezing but there’s no snow so this can totally pass as a September wedding but it’s definitely -5 season to create of our favourite bridal party sequences ever. On another note, we only have 1 more wedding to deliver and we are officially done with our 2019 weddings AND our 2020 wedding season officially kicks off this weekend! @ Whistle Bear Golf Club
It has officially been 1 year since our first ever destination wedding, and the best exit to a ceremony we’ve ever seen- if you don’t remember Darnell did the running man back up the isle and it was everything. Since then we’ve been to BC and Aruba and we have 2 more destinations planned for this year, so crazy but we are so thankful. Happy Anniversary @m2shaker @darnellroweoh, we hope you have the best day.
