On September 18th 2018 the Kyla Anne went down off of North Cape PEI, one man made it to land while 2 great men where lost at sea. I wrote this song the day aft...er it happened, Its called Cold September Day .. A long 6 days later those 2 men found there way back home.. I wrote a 3rd verse about it and was asked by a few family members this summer to share the 3rd verse and I told them I would on the 2nd Anniversary of this very tragic day!! Well ,, when the 2nd Anniversary came around last week our Island was hit yet again with another very very heartbreaking tragedy when a dory went down with 3 amazing teen boys in it... I couldn’t bring myself to even think about singing it.. With all the prayer and all the people out looking, Those boys made there way home!!! I know music can heal and I thought it would be a good time to share this song!!! We are all so very sorry to the family and friends for the loss 2 years ago and for the loss these last 2 weeks!!
