. . . .... Hello loves! Here we have a client who was inquiring on how to fix her over curled lash lift. We went over the options of fixing the lashes by going over with another lift, but I advised I would rather put extensions on with corrective directionally because her lashes are already so processed. Another lift would dry them out, frizz up the lashes and potentially cause breakage (similar to double bleaching or double perming hair). At this point, because her lashes are dehydrated they are extra porous (to help the adhesive adhere better) and half the lashes are already grown in, by the time these extensions fly off new virgin lash hairs will be growing in and taking their place ready for a fresh fill or a new lash lift . . . CC/DD curls 0.03mm used 8-15mm kitten eye. ! . This here is an example of why it's important to come in on time for your fills, or know when to let go of your lashes! If you swipe, you can see when she had come in, she had 25-30% of her lashes remaining, and a lot of them were too grown out or hanging in the wrong direction. Even though a client may have great retention, the lashes that are still attached over 4 weeks are most likely very grown out and need to be changed out to pr...event damage to the natural lashes. When a client comes in like this, I immediately tell them they need a full set and removal. If I were to treat this as a refill and attempt to fill it in as is, I would end up taking way more time trying to nit pick which lashes to remove or keep, and potentially struggle to figure out which style I'm trying to achieve. There's no point in wasting my time as an artist, and their times as clients trying to save the extra dollars. As an artist, I will inevitably always produce cleaner, quicker and higher quality work doing a full removal and full set, and I can take the opportunity to educate my clients for optimal lash health, styling and maintenance. Seeing your lash tech in regular intervals also helps us determine if you've been properly caring for your lashes in between also please do not attempt to remove your lashes at home with oil.
