Today and everyday I am thankful to veterans past and present.

Anyone else feeling my feet up, backseat, ferry struggle this am? Is it just me or does today feel more like a Monday? Was up till 1AM working on taxes last night and then drove to the 9AM ferry this am, only to end up missing it. On another note - any good book recs out there?

I cannot say enough about this amazing dinner series hosted by Half A Dozen Hospitality and @bradbodnarchuck! This dinners proceeds will go towards the Union Gospel Mission! I hope to see many of you there!!

Its sometimes hard to remember that its okay to take time for myself in between being a business owner, a wife, a stepmum, a friend, & a dog mum. I hope this is a reminder that you can too!

We work with SPFK, The British Columbia Ride to Conquer Cancer, Dreams Take Flight, Rubens Shoes, and Michael Cuccione Foundation. We also try and give back wherever and whenever else we can. Getting messages like this one, make everything worth it, and I felt inspired to share it with all of you! "Dear Special Friends: A huge thanks for helping us to get over the threshold of over $...1.4 million since the conception of Kick For A Cure. The 12th Annual Kick For A Cure was a great time had by all and another very successful event. Funds raised will benefit the Michael Cuccione Childhood Cancer Research Program (MCCCRP) at BC Childrens Hospital. This is an especially exciting time as the MCCCRP with the groundbreaking initiative as we prepare to offer the clinical trial CAR-T cell immunotherapy at BC Childrens hospital. This treatment has helped to save 3 children that would have no hope this year. They use the childs own immune system to kill the cancer with no chemo or radiation. This is revolutionary as it will offer hope to children with leukaemia and lymphoma who are not successfully treated by other means and it does so with fewer side effects.
