Dear Clients, We finally have our reopening date Monday June 8th!!! We are expecting a large patient volume during re-opening week, please be patient, as we will be trying our best to find a time slot for everyone. We will be giving priority to patients who are in need of urgent care. Our administrative staff will be in the office starting this Monday June 1st, Wednesday June 3rd, and Friday June 5th from 10am-12pm to start booking appointments for the following week. If ...you require an appointment, you are welcome to call us outside of these business hours and leave us a voicemail. Our administrative assistant will return your phone call as soon as possible. Moving forward, performing new assessments via TeleHealth would be a preferred method of practice while masks and strict disinfection protocols are mandatory. Benefits of new assessment via Telehealth: 1. You get to meet your therapist face to face without them or you wearing a mask. 2. Minimize risk of infection, since new assessment can last up to 1 hr, which would require a longer time in the clinic. 3. All new assessments completed via TeleHealth will be given a priority for the actual treatment time slot at the clinic, since the problem to be treated was identified and therapist can adequately prepare in advance for your treatment. However, if you are unable to have your appointment via TeleHealth, please call the clinic at (902) 530-3455 to book your in-person new assessment. We are happy to be open again and look forward to seeing you at the clinic, On Track Physiotherapy Team.

The Canadian Physiotherapy Association Statement on "The Role of Physiotherapy in Keeping Canadians Safe During the COVID-19 Pandemic" Physiotherapy and rehabilitation play an essential role in the context of infectious disease outbreaks. Physiotherapy can mitigate adverse impacts due to respiratory and mobility complications associated with infectious disease outbreaks. The care and treatment offered by physiotherapists is crucial in keeping Canadians... healthy and active, and in preventing the need to access urgent or emergency services in-hospital. Physiotherapy can reduce the burden on the medical system through improving patient function and independence, and allowing them to return to their homes sooner, freeing up much needed hospital resources. Physiotherapy is important to improve physical and mental well-being for patients diagnosed with an infectious disease, as well as for those in isolation and self-quarantine. Physiotherapy can help Canadians to return to their communities, families, and employment faster, thus reducing the societal and financial impacts of infectious disease. As health care professionals, physiotherapists are trained in, and adhere to, strict infection control practices to keep Canadians safe See more
Dear Client In light of the ever changing spread of COVID-19 we ask anyone that has traveled outside of the country or have been in contact with an individual who displayed flu-like symptoms to kindly isolate and wait the 14 days before coming to see us for your appointment. Also anyone experiencing flu like symptoms to call us and reschedule your appointments. Together we can prevent the spread of the virus and also keep our loved ones safe. We would like for everyone to k...eep in mind that majority of us are self-employed; consequently, it is very hard to take any amount of sick time. Thank you all! We appreciate your understanding and consideration. Lets all stay safe and well! Kind regards, On Track Physiotherapy Team See more
