This week we will be featuring our head instructor Justin Knapik. Justin started OnTrack Performance Riding School in 2008 after seeing the need for organized track based riding schools in Alberta. He trained with multiple schools in the USA and has brought that knowledge and his skills and success to OTP. Justin was also the head instructor of the EMRA race licensing school helping to develop the curriculum that still stands in place today. ... During his time with the club, Justin won the Alberta Supertwins Championship in 2008 and EMRA Supertwins Championship in 2009. He was our Club Champion from 2011-2014, winning 4 consecutive Expert Superbike titles; a feat that has not been duplicated in club history. After a total of 16 regional #1 plates and 6 Western Canadian titles, Justin retired from full-time competition to mentor new riders through OnTrack Performance Riding School and the EMRA race school. This weeks instructor profile is for none other than Tosh Gable Tosh started racing in 2009 and took a few years off. returned to racing again in 2015 aboard a Cbr1000 I have been teaching with OTP for 3 years. Tosh tries to balance racing, fixing bikes and family all during a busy summer. We are excited to have him as apart of this team!

June 12-13 classes are sold out!! For those students looking to register for the 2021 schools, please do so soon to avoid disappointment. We will be starting a wait list as needed.

This weeks instructor profile is for Shane Fraser. Shane attended his first OTP School in 2011, and started racing with the emra in 2012. He has been an instructor with OTP since 2014 making him our longest running assistant instructor with OTP schools! Shane has mentored with Justin Knapik for 10 years now and has become not only a fantastic and consistent racer, but one of the best instructors we have ever produced.

This weeks weeks instructor profile is on Bronti Verbeek. Our new birthday girl! She is one of the fastest riders in the EMRA paddock and has earned her spot as a OTP instructor showing her talent not only as a fast rider, but a phenomenal instructor. Bronti Verbeek has been racing for 4 years and did her very first track experience with OTP. From Novice track rider to OTP Instructor too multi time Intermediate race winner which had her set the all time ladies lap record. Bikes are not just Bronti’s passion it’s a lifestyle for her.
