Muscle Building Key: LOW FATIGUE STATE Fatigue is one of the biggest hinderences to those trying to build muscle. Building muscle is a monumental task for the body and in order to maximize how much muscle you gain in the shortest time, you need to keep your fatigue in check. How hard did you work and recover today? STIMULATE & RECUPERATE Never forget that recovery is just as important as the work you put in at the gym. Intensity is the driver of growth but recovery is where that growth actually takes place. Therefore, recover as hard as you work! That means getting adequate sleep, drinking enough water, eating enough and giving muscle groups time to rebuild themselves before hitting them again. A rest day is OKAY! Contrary to popular belief, ...you will NOT "lose all your gains" if you take a day or two to rest. Hard upper body session yesterday at Omega Fit Club with Cody. Our focus was on developing rear and medial Delts, followed by heavy rows with Triceps supersets. After that we progressed to chest. All exercises consisted of 4-5 working sets, employing a variety of techniques to maximize volume, time under tension and overload.
