Hey Everyone! Just wanted to give you an update on our little Chocolate Shop! As many of you know we offer our Chocolates for Wholesale to other Gift Shops, Coffee Shops etc. This past year we have seen an Amazing growth in that part of our business. Because of this, we have decided that that is where our focus needs to be. We are going to be doing a few renovations to our kitchen, getting a new website with an online store up and running, changing some of our packaging and ...most importantly offering some new and delicious treats. That being said, we have decided to close the retail part of our business with Feb. 14 being the last day that we are open to the public. It has been a challenge for us from the get go having our shop and kitchen in 2 different places and as much as we have loved serving all of your Smiling Faces we have decided to follow where we do best. You will still be able to order our delicious Chocolates online and pick up at the kitchen downstairs and we will also be posting a list of the shops that currently carry our Chocolates shortly. Thank You from the bottom of our hearts to every one of you who have walked through our doors. It has meant the world to us and we sincerely hope that you continue to support us through ordering either online or by phone or by purchasing our treats at another local shop supporting two businesses at one time. First off, let me apologize for being MIA. You know the expression "it has been a day" well "It has been a month". We had a few delays getting moved which put us a bit behind in orders and filling the shop (one day I promise it will be filled to the brim) and then we had Electrical problems and boy, did we have problems! So many Thanks go to Tyler Nowco Home Hardware He has replaced so many fuses in microwaves for me, given me deals on microwaves....sorry for crying at the ...cash register Tami Clish He has offered to let me use the kitchen in Home Hardware (not sure what the health inspector would have to say about that but how cool would that be for Oodles of Chocolates to be making treats in the middle of Home Hardware! Then on to Rieley Kay He has offered me a space to work, a place to store supplies and listened while I ranted! Thank You for always being my supporter! Chelsea from @breathelacombe brought me Beautiful flowers and messages me to see if I am O.K. (maybe because she hears me ranting through the shop walls) Ken from Red Key Realty was on the ball as soon as he heard there was a problem and contacted BW Electric Inc. Ben has gone so far out of his way to fix our electrical problems. He has contacted Fortis to see if they could find the problem. He even came on a Saturday morning. When I told him we had blown ANOTHER microwave, he called to tell me he had an older model in the basement and then proceeded to bring it into the shop. He was definitely my hero that day. We have had so many people message or drop in to ask how we are doing and we appreciate you all! We feel so blessed to be a small part of this Amazing City and the people who work and live here. Hopefully, we are at the tail end of our problems and it will be Clear Sailing from here. Thanks for listenting! :) Edna See more

For those of you who have the pleasure of knowing Chelsea from @breathemassage you already know that she is one of the Sweetest people ever! She is always so encouraging, the first one to offer help and goes out of her way to do nice things for people. She is the best Business neighbor anyone could ask for. She delivered this beautiful bouquet to welcome us to our new space (and probably because she knew I was having a rough week. ) Not only do the colors match the shop PERFECTLY but tucked into the beautiful bouquet are kitchen accessories in matching colors! . I Absolutely LOVE it and wish I could keep it forever! @duchessflowershop did an Amazing job!

It's that Scary time of year again.....and no, I am not talking about the snow! It is Eyeball Mini Hot Chocolate Bomb time. We will have lots of Halloween Treats available in store this weekend.

Yesterday I got the Sweetest Surprise! We were trying to finish moving to our new shop when I met the Ghostbusters a.k.a. Carlson Manor on the street. They asked if I was Edna and when I said yes, the cutest little Ghostbuster handed me a gift. Inside was an adorable ghost banner (which will be hung in the shop) and a gift certificate to one of my favourite lunch places Eastside Eatery. I gotta say there may have been a few tears shed. Thank You so much to Deanna Nowochin for knowing I needed a little cheer. The more I come to know this City and the Amazing People in it, the more I LOVE it here! Thank You to everyone who was involved. It Totally made my day!

All I can say is Thank You! Our first few days upstairs have kinda left me speechless! We are soooo grateful for all the support, the kind words and for everyone who Loves the paint colors lol
