The mermaid tail soap got me thinking - why do mermaids get all the attention? What about dolphins? Don’t they deserve some love, too? And then I got carried away (a theme that runs through my whole life lol!). For these soaps, I hand-formed different seashells and dolphins out of soap, adding mica for a hint of sparkle. Some bars even have seagulls or crabs! Each of these bars of soap is slightly different (we *could* call it artistic vision, but really, I’m not awesome eno...ugh to make them all exactly the same!). Half the bars have an embedded sun running through them; the other half shows a cloudy day on the Wet Coast. These are hefty bars, weighing 125g (4.5 oz), so you can enjoy them for ages. The fragrance is fresh and clean, reminiscent of the ocean. Yum! These adorable artsy soaps are meant to be used! It’s one of my favourite soap formulas, meant to get you nice n clean while being kind to your skin. Each soap comes in my traditional (reusable, recyclable) paper packaging ... I truly wish there was a way to package them with something clear so they’re easier to see, but I just can’t bring myself to add more plastic into the world if I can avoid it! I’d love to hear what you all think!

It’s mermaid time!! Lately I’ve been inspired (maybe even obsessed) by the ocean. Maybe we’re all secretly mermaids deep inside. Or is it just me? This is the first of a series of art soaps I’ve been creating, each devoted to the ocean I adore. Every mermaid tail and seashell was formed by hand before creating the bars of soap, a true labour of love! These are a limited edition, with only 15 bars available (better make that 14 ... I simply MUST have one for myself!). They’re scented with pure essential oils of sweet orange, bergamot, and lavender, and smell heavenly. These cute li'l soaps will be ready just in time for Valentines Day , perfect for the one you love (or yourself, I won’t judge). At only $8, they’re a perfect little piece of art for your bathroom. Go ahead, use it up ... I’ll make more lol!

The big day is here, and I’m so stoked! Becki and I will be at the North Island Mall today for the big craft sale, along with artisans from all over the area. It’s a perfect time to get those last-minute gift ideas, stocking stuffers, and even treats for yourself (it’s stressful, and you deserve it!). Come on down and visit for a while! All the soaps and shampoo bars are loaded up and ready to go. We’ve got a few new goodies for the sale, including the most adorable fizzy bath parfaits that will add some serious bubbles to your bath while making your skin soft and smooth. Plus, I’ve made a few sweet journals (!) and notebooks, ID wallets, fabric lanyards, and soy wax candles, even resin soap dishes. I’ve been a busy gal!
