Here's a blast from the past . As the Chorus celebrates a big Anniversary Dinner this weekend, we look back to the originals in 1972 and an augmented chorus in the 1990s.

The Ottawa Police Chorus is celebrating 45 years in the singing business this year!! We're fortunate to have two of the original tenors still standing strong and belting out the tunes. Watch for us as we carry out an aggressive agenda of concerts and musical contributions to celebrate this milestone, along with Ottawa's 150 and Canada's 150. All that fuss,- just for us.

Fabulous time was had in Cornwall yesterday, supporting a fundraiser for the Salvation Army to address the need in the community, especially over the Christmas season. The Chorus sang their hearts out,( the event raised + 3k) - the same hearts full of support for the Red Blacks. Presto, - a win/win. Just in case you think it requires little effort, check out the concentration on these singers...

Friday was bookended by two special events and the Police Chorus was fortunate to be at both,- the Civic Prayer Breakfast and the Jericho Road fundraiser. It's most humbling to witness the hard work devoted to making our community more hospitable, safe and loving. And, all of the above centered in prayer!
