Hey wifeys I recently had a bride pick her dress up from me after leaving it here for the past 12 months, and then calling me the same evening she brought it home because she thought her dress had yellowed. She had it dry cleaned over a year before bringing it to me, and had kept the plastic cover over it, which can emit fumes that will turn dresses yellow with time. You can read about phenolic yellowing below, but just as a PSA, it’s always recommended to either have them preserved, or just stored in a breathable garment bag!! XO Lily
