Wow it has been a while! ** Disclaimer** This is a rather long winded very real post about some changes happening here** I know I haven't posted on here in f-o-r-e-v-e-r! That is because my life has taken some twists and turns over the last couple years. I created a business I loved and filled me up until it just didn't anymore. ... The love died! However my crazy work habits didn't stop. I hit roadblock after roadblock after mountain after mountain until I had had enough and decided to close. I suffered severe burnout y'all! Anyone else out there suffered burnout? I had a real internal struggle with this. I say internal because I did this mostly out of the public eye and lets be real in my pj's. At my core I absolutely believe I was meant to start this business. However what I didn't see happening was that maybe that was a stepping stone not a landing zone. I learned so so much during that time. I know what its like to create something from nothing! I know what it means to HUSTLE! I know what it feels like to do work this fills your soul! I know this seems crazy to share this way, WAY after the fact but I am just now feeling the itch to create again! 2 years people...2 years later! I just finished my bathroom vanity, it took me two years! Anyone who has followed this little piece of the interwebs know I love to be creative, to find a solution to a problem that is unconventional. I still joke I am the love child of Martha Stewart and MacGyver. There is very little I can't figure out! I apologize for taking 2 years to write this post but thats life y'all! I was silent because I wasn't ready to let Operation Magpie go, I birthed it and it was beautiful and painful and hard and so so rewarding! Then it occured to me I didn't have to let it go it will evolve into something else. We are changing, ever changing, ever learning. What many of you don't know...if there are still people out there reading this is what saved me! Other than my family and a forgiving God...it was ultimately my mom who kept giving me these little bottles of oils to use that helped heal my soul. Young Living saved my life! Now don't go crazy I wasn't literally dying but I was a ghost of my former vibrant self. Young Living oils supported my emotional health and wellbeing So friends the content here will be changing if you aren't interested in a variety of creative content outside of furniture stuff you are free to move on to where your heart leads you.
