The Ontario Provincial Football League (OPFL) announces that they will not be renewing their membership to the Ontario Football Alliance (OFA) after almost 14 years as members under various organizations. After careful consideration and following discussions with the club centers, a requested vote was tabled at the OPFL’s 2020 AGM and resulted in a majority of votes in favour of not renewing the OPFLs membership in the OFA effective January 1, 2021. The membership feels it is... the right time to step away for a variety of reasons that we are not liberty to discuss at this time. Football Canada, the OFA, the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries, as well as our various industry partners have been informed of this decision. Furthering the OPFL’s position as the leading football league in Ontario, its membership will be working on a 3 year Strategic that will allow the league and members to move forward with confidence by building a unified football community that is committed to a vision of encouraging all players to achieve their full potential. The 2021 2024 Plan aligns with Football Canada’s current Strategic Plan, while being tailored to the unique landscape of OPFL members. Although there is uncertainty in the world around us, the guidance of a solid strategic plan, our policies and guidelines, together with our partners' support and advice, will enable us to flourish as a League for the good of the game, now and into the future. The Board remains dedicated to ensuring the OPFL is on sound footing as we transition into the next three-year plan. Thank you all, once again, for your continued support as we step toward the future. OPFL Executive Board

Calling all OPFL players!!
Many OPFL members, their families and friends sacrificed and fought for the freedoms we all enjoy today. On the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, at the eleventh hour, we come together to honour and remember the men and women who have served, and continue to serve Canada during times of need, conflict and peace.
Despite the challenges we have faced, we have so much to be thankful for this year. Most of all, our players, coaches and volunteers. Be safe and enjoy the holiday!
