A Burlington OPP officer rescued an injured swan from the lanes of the #QEW this week, and we are pleased to report that the bird is expected to make a full recovery. It is currently at the Hobbitstee Wildlife Refuge. Officers considered charges for jay-walking. ^dh

It’s been a difficult year without many answers for Frank CHIAPPETTA’s family. The 87-year-old Caledon East resident was reported missing in September 2019. His... remains were discovered by a hiker in March of this year. A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the death of Oloferno (Frank) CHIAPPETTA.
