W E D D I N G D A Y Today is the day! Christine & Aaron are finally getting married! It has been a long road getting to today. From an original destination wedding in Mexico, to cancelling that & moving to an 80 person wedding back home, dropping that to 25, then a stay at home order dropping their numbers to 10 and now putting their rain plan into place! ... It’s been a rollercoaster filled with laughs, tears and everything in between! Although we won’t be attending (we will be setting up) we know that all the vendors are going to make this a special day for these two! Happy Friday! It’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself so I figured why not today! I’m Kiley & that’s me, fluffing Veronica’s dress on her way to marry the love of her life! I still find it surreal to see photos of me wearing a mask while doing the thing I love most, but it’s here to stay so why not embrace it! ... Here are 5 fun facts about me: 1. I was a dancer for over 14 years! I spent my childhood in a dance studio and it was the best! Because of it you can catch me on a dance floor any chance I get! 2. I was a flower girl when I was 7 and it ultimately started my love of weddings! 3. I’ve travelled to over 20 countries and plan to visit a new one each year! Travel is my second passion! Last year I made it to Costa Rica just in time! This years trip isn’t planned yet but I am hopeful to get on a plane before the end of the year! (you can follow my travel adventures over at @travel_with_kiley ) 4. In my spare time I’m a big crafter and bought a Cricut last year to help expand my projects! I love making personalized gifts for my family & friends 5. I have a secret (or not so secret) love for the Bachelor and Bachelorette franchise! I religiously watch every season with my fellow addicts Last wedding season was definitely a challenge, but I am hopeful that this season is going to be better & cannot wait for all the amazing weddings we have planned! Well, we made it to the end of 2020 and that’s something to celebrate 2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year! It started with some big changes to the company, followed by a lovely trip to Costa Rica (which would be my last) and then the pandemic hit and from there everything went sideways! Cancelled weddings to Mexico, so many date changes and rules and a next to nothing wedding season! It hasn’t been easy as a small business owner but I am so grateful for all my amazing ...couples who have adapted so well to the whole situation and have been supportive through it all! I truly missed spending my weekends working weddings and can’t wait to get back into the swing of things ( hopefully)! We look forward to what the 2021 wedding season has in store and can’t wait for all our amazing couples to finally get married! out 2020 and hello 2021! Please be nice to us! : Grey Loft Studio

Well folks, we’ve decked our halls , presents are under the tree , Christmas lights are on and we are in the Christmas spirit! This also means that we’ll be taking a social media break until the new year to rest, regroup and refocus for 2021! 2020 has definitely been hard on all of us, but through it all we’ve learnt to live a simpler life and never take what we have for granted! ...
