The 8th Annual Crafting a Cure is taking place again this year on Friday, November 6th with a twist! To ensure the safety of all our supporters, this year's fun...draiser will allow you to purchase a BEER BOX containing 12 types of drinks (beer, cider, spirits) and great swag from vendors and local businesses. Today is Optimist Flag Day and the start to a new Optimist year. We proudly fly our Optimist flag. Thank you to our community for the amazing support and love you have shown us this year.

POSTPONED As much as it pains us to postpone this show because we believe everybody needs a good laugh and these guys will certainly bring it, we are POSTPONING THE SHOW due to the current circumstances with Covid cases increasing in Ontario. The Optimist Club of Cornwall and the Questionable Comedians together have arrived at this decision but we will certainly be ready at a later date when it is safe to do so and we can assure plenty of laughs will be had on that date. We appreciate the support our community gives to both organizations and we want everyone to be safe.

What a great day yesterday as the amazing staff of Tampicos prepared and served around 1,000 taquitos to serve dinner as a fundraiser for the Optimist Club of Cornwall. We were sold out online and people were so friendly as they waited in line or drove through to pick up there meal. Thank you to FreshCo and Giant Tiger for your generous donations to this event. Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraiser and for the tips and so many thanks to Ivan, Anna and family for their time and talents. They truly love to give back to their community.

As always, this community is stepping up. We already have 10 families, businesses or organizations that have offered to be a stop for trick or treaters for our drive through Halloween event. Keep them coming, the more booths/cars the bigger the bag needed by our trick or treaters.
