Headings are not styling elements! The more websites I come across, the more I see people using headings as styling elements - gahhh! Headings are not meant just for style, they should be used to structure your article, blog post or webpage. ... Search engines and humans LOVE a well-structured article. People love it because nowadays we mostly scan articles until we find the section that interests us the most. If your article is well structured, it’s very easy for someone to quickly scan and find the information they are looking for. Search engines use headings to figure out what your article or webpage is about and assign importance to the phrases and words. H1 is more important than H2 which is more important than H3 and so on For example, your heading structure could look like this if you’re writing about ballet shoes(https://yoast.com/how-to-use-headings-on-your-site/) H1: Ballet shoes are awesome H2: Why we think ballet shoes are awesome H3: They don’t just come in pink! H3: You can use them for more than just dancing H3: They might be less expensive than you think H2: Where should you buy your ballet shoes? H3: The 10 best ballet equipment websites H3: Our favorite local dancing shops https://optimoseo.ca/ #SEO #searchengineoptimization #localSEO #SEOagency #headings

Google Search vs Siri??? Have you noticed that Google is the default search engine on your iPhone and other iDevices? That doesn’t come cheap for Google and it may be coming to an end soon. In exchange for this privileged access to Apple’s massive consumer base, Google pays Apple billions of dollars in advertising revenue each year, with public estimates ranging around $812 billion. The revenues Google shares with Apple make up approximately 1520 percent of Apple’s worldwi...de net income. When it comes to search engines, Google is way ahead of the competition in every way. By some accounts, Google has over 90% of the search market which leaves the other 10% to be split between Bing, Yahoo, Baidu, DuckDuckGo and a few others. That’s as close to a monopoly as it comes, and that’s why we always focus our SEO efforts on Google first. That said, competition is always good so I welcome Apple to enter the search engine market and put some pressure on big G in the years to come. If anyone can compete with Google it’s Apple. It will certainly make for an interesting battle of the tech giants! Do you think Apple should come out with their own search engine to compete with Google? https://optimoseo.ca/ #SEO #searchengineoptimization #localSEO #google #apple https://searchengineland.com/does-the-google-antitrust-case
