If you are experiencing pain or have a concern about your oral health, please call your dentist. Your dentist will triage you for symptoms and risk factors over... the phone or another remote option to determine whether a dental emergency exists. These conditions would include treatment of oral-facial trauma, significant infection, prolonged bleeding, pain which cannot be managed by over the counter medications, or management of known/high risk malignancy. Your dentist will make emergency treatment decisions based on your particular situation. Visiting your dentist for emergency treatment is safe. Dental practices have the highest standards for patient safety, including infection prevention controls. If you do not have a dentist, visit our Find-a-Dentist tool, or visit Alberta Health Services Dental Clinic (for families in financial need).

We remain temporarily closed, but continue to help with emergency and urgent dental. Provided the AB Relaunch Strategy remains on track, we hope to open for expanded services beyond emergency dental on May 14. Let's continue to do our part to help fight COVID19!

Did you know flossing everyday is the most important part of oral care? When you don’t floss, you miss cleaning 35% of tooth surfaces, and neglect preventative care. Let's floss everyday and keep our teeth cleaned :)

You are not sure if it is time to change your toothbrush or mouthwash? Toothbrush should be changed out every 3-4 months. Check the expiry date of your mouthwash. Dental items must be changed regularly to ensure healthy teeth and gum!
