Wait for the College and Dr Bonnie Henry’s recommendations to return to work. If you look at section 7a of the recent College document - it states Level 3 masks or N95 masks. This is likely to do with the patient selection in our private practices are different from the type of patient in the hospital setting with possible high VIRAL load and the exposure rate could be higher depending where you are in the Hospital. Also the CURVE is flat as well. So strict guidelines on Patient selection would help decrease the risk factors .... wait for more studies to come out.
