Custom necklace for a milestone birthday. This is what a bespoke piece of jewelry is! Three floating rings at the top of the pendant representing three friends. Graduation is coming up and customers are getting creative in their orders. This is for a graduating student who does not wear jewelry but her mom wanted to commemorate the special day with something that her daughter use everyday. Custom earrings created today. Although similar in style using mixed metals these fine silver and copper earrings were created using very different techniques. The fine silver is hand sculpted out of fine silver clay. Most of the finishing in this method is done before I fire it in a kiln for 2 hours. While the copper earrings are created by sawing out the shape from sheets of copper. Each are labour intensive in their own way. So when you can't decide choose one of each. Which metal earrings do you prefer?

Fine Silver Imperfect Heart Necklace. Just completed these two necklaces for a customer. No two hearts are the same. Each heart has varying layers of silver. I begin with hand sculpting a plain heart, dry it, and then add layers of silver pieces with jagged edges to create depth and the imperfections. A final patina is applied to highlight the relief pattern. I absolutely love making these pendants and the final product is always unique. Wrapping up the last of Mother’s Day gifts today. I leave you with a selection of custom pieces that I have created over the years. I wanted to write a poem that describes my love for you. 31 years ago she went away for school. He wrote her a poem and tucked it into her winter boots that he sent to her. She framed the poem for their 5th wedding anniversary. Now 22 years later she had the first verse made into a key chain so that he can have it with him when she was not with him. Completed a custom fine silver pendant for a mom of a nonspeaking son who uses a letter board to communicate. Antigone reached out to me to create this "spelling to communicate" board (S2C) pendant necklace. The pendant measures 16mm x 12mm.
