This young man, Jaylen, 12 years old, asked his parents if he could organize a neighbourhood food drive for the Orangeville Food Bank. He composed and personally delivered a letter asking neighbours to please donate and drop off at his family home on Meadow Drive. Congratulations Jaylen , and the whole family for collecting 317 lbs. We are excited to announce our Christmas Cheer Project! We have partnered with the Orangeville Food Bank to bring some extra cheer to some very deserving famil...ies in our community. We have made two different packages for a special Christmas meal. These packages will be prepared, packaged and delivered to the Orangeville food bank, where they will gift them on behalf of you! All donations over $20 will receive an official donation receipt through the Orangeville Food Bank. Visit our website to place your donation by either choosing to donate a lunch or dinner. This weekend is the The Mom Market Orangeville 's "Shopping in a Winter Wonderland" at Hockley Valley Farm There will be lots of amazing local vendors and we will have volunteers on hand from the Food Bank to collect donations!

At the Tuesday team meeting last week, Heather also presented a special award to Trevor. We're pretty sure that we would not yet be in our new building if it weren't for Trevor. Trevor was the leading force behind the renovation. He worked with and organized the contractors, volunteers, agencies and community members to help ensure the work was completed in a relatively short period of time. Trevor was given the "Supervisor's" hardhat. THANK YOU so much Trevor. We LOVE our new building!
