HAPPY BC DAY!! I hope everyone has had a wonderful long weekend and are enjoying the brilliant weather we are having. This is an unfiltered flashback photo of a hike up the Stawamus Chief and shows the true beauty of British Columbia and how fortunate we are to live here. Rosie Chamberlin, MPT has successfully completed post-graduate, competency-based certifications in vestibular therapy and concus...sion management, and can effectively assess and treat conditions causing imbalance and dizziness. She has also broadened her scope of practice to include assessment and treatment of women’s pelvic floor issues (including but not limited to bowel and bladder incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, vaginal pain and vaginismus (vestibulodynia, vulvodynia, dyspareunia), coccydynia, constipation, pre-post natal care, diastasis rectus abdominis, and pelvic girdle pain (symphysis pubis paint and sacroiliac pain). She has successfully completed acupuncture training through Acupuncture Canada and IMS through GUNN IMS at UBC and has been practicing both of these treatments in clinic effectively for several years: She has been a private practice physiotherapist in Victoria with focus on orthopaedic manual therapy for close to 10 years. Rosie is excited to welcome both current and new patients to her new clinic space. Orca Physiotherapy is also pleased to announce we are approved for the direct billing by the following insurance providers: MSP, Pacific Blue Cross, Medavie Blue Cross, and several extended health providers under Telus Health (ie. Canada Life, SunLife Financial, Manulife, Chamber of Commerce).
