Kabul, Afghanistan, 31.01.2021 We are signing a memorandum of understanding with our ORCD Afghan partner for the facilitation of Eshteghalzayee-Karmonda (EZ-KAR) project in Kunduz - a province in the northeast of Afghanistan bordering the Republic of Tajikistan. We will provide our technical support for strengthening the monitoring and reporting aspect of the project so that a proper check-and-balance could be maintained for the effective implementation of the project.... Finally ORCD Canada is now registered as a Canadian NGO in Afghanistan. The first project is the provision of mobile health services to nomads in 12 provinces and the second is EZ-KAR in Kunduz

In partnership with our local counterpart, ORCD-Canada starts the facilitation of a major national priority program of Afghanistan called Eshteghalzayee-Karmondana (EZ-KAR) in Kunduz province of Afghanistan which is implemented under the Deputy Ministry of Muncipalities. The Eshiteghal Zaiee Karmondena (EZ-Kar) is a Project that proposes to mitigate the enormous pressure caused by the displacement crises, while also enhancing the opportunities it presents for economic deve...lopment. Thus EZ-Kar fits within the international context of integrating humanitarian approaches with development. There is a strong emphasis in the project on regulatory reforms at municipal and national levels to support business owners and enhance the ease of doing business, developing market-based infrastructure, and creating short and medium term economic opportunities as well as removing impediments to their re-integration.
